Born in San Luis Obispo, California the 30 year-old fighter has been fighting from a young age, ever since his father enrolled him in classes. After starting his MMA Career 5-1, Kennedy enlisted in the US Army, where he served in the Special Force. Since his return, he is 7-1 and is looking strong to take the Middleweight Title.
