A former Dream Middleweight Champion and current Strikeforce Light Heavyweight Champion, Mousasi developed his standup and Judo skills, starting at age 15; he went on to become the Netherlands' Amateur Boxing Champion.
He has defeated a multitude of talented fighters, such as Musashi, Melvin Manhoef, Mark Hunt, Renato Sobral, and Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou. He has one of the best records in MMA; only 2 of his 27 victories have gone to decision.
